KL Rat Race 2010

About the Kuala Lumpur Rat Race

The Edge™ – Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Rat Race® is an annual event for charity which began in 2000. Modelled after the Carey Wall Street Rat Race, the Kuala Lumpur Rat Race® is a platform for Corporate Malaysia to come together to help the needy in a novel way. The Race is the one day in the year that top executives and office workers forget about the rat race they run in daily, and join a rat race of a different kind. It also gives these workers a good excuse to leave the office early after a hard day’s work.

BHPetrol's Orange Run 2010

The OR10 Team is pleased to inform you that the BHPetrol's Orange Run which is an annual event on BHPetrol's calendar will be held for the fifth time this year. The Run which is scheduled on 25 July 2010 will be organized with Pacesetters overseeing the technical aspects of the Run and the Police and MBPJ lending their assistance to ensure that the day's event goes smoothly. .

Entry forms will be available in the BHPetrol website from 25 June 2010, at the seven selected service stations and Pacesetters website from 28 June 2010 onwards. The official entry form is enclosed in the attachment above for your convenience. Photostatted copies are acceptable but they must be in this official entry form.

So come and join in the fun. As they say, if you can't run, then walk. Invite your family and friends to join in the Run as there are now 6 categories opened to all Malaysians.

There will be refreshment station located at 5km for 10km run & 2.5km for 5km run.


Breakfast / Group Photographs

Light food and refreshments will be served after the race. Please throw all rubbish into the garbage bags provided to facilitate cleaning up process. Do keep the park clean at all time and LITTERING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If you wish to have group photographs taken, kindly ask our cameraman on duty for assistance.

Public parking is available around the park, we have security volunteers but advisable not put valuable item inside your car.

Check Points
--------------
Due to numerous shortcuts available along the route, there will be checkpoints along the way, to ensure a fair competition for every participant. Marshalls in charge will ensure everyone run the correct route.


Waiver Clause

The participants hereby agree to abide by the rules and conditions of the race, participants are entering the competition absolutely at their own risk and shall not hold the organizer responsibility for any accident, injury, death, loss of property and whatsoever caused before, during and after the race.


Collection of T-Shirt and Bib
-------------------------------------
Collection of T-shirt and Bid will be available 1 week before the race day. Participants shall collect their t-shirts and bib numbers before the reporting time on race day. Please take note that t-shirts and bib numbers will not be distributed after 7.00am on Race day. Those runners without bib will be disqualified. The race will be flagged off at 7:30am sharp, thus your punctuality will be much appreciated.


T-shirt size are not allowed to change once you confirm the size (Pls take note that we only order for the exact quantity of the T-shirt).
